Recioto Classico della Valpolicella DOCG

What kind of vintage was 2018? The 2018 vintage began with a cold spring, followed by significant warming at the end of April. April and May were moderately rainy, especially in the high hillside areas where our Selezioni line vineyards are located. Summer started off cool and unstable but was followed by a warmer period. The harvest began in the first ten days of September, with well-ripened grapes thanks to the high temperatures in August. This resulted in high-quality grapes with optimal sugar and acidity levels for the appassimento process, promising excellent wines.
